Donations
Fishermen In Support of Heroes is a non-profit group incorporated in the state of North Carolina. We have applied for and are awaiting approval as a federally recognized charity (501(c)3 status). Our focus is honoring and showing appreciation to our country's military members, especially those that have been wounded in action.
Your gifts and contributions are used to help defray the cost associated with fishing trips and other activities in line with our mission statement. We can't do it with out your help, which is greatly appreciated by both the volunteers and those we serve. Currently we can only accept contributions via cash, check or money order. Today Richard Phelps, chairman of F.I.S.H., announced a pier fishing event will be held on November 7th for veterans of military service. See the events page entry for details
F.I.S.H has added a pier fishing event for 18 wounded warriors from Fort Bragg, NC. It will be held on Sept. 24, 2010. For details see the events page entry.
We held our annual pier fishing event for wounded warriors from Camp LeJeune, NC on May 5th. We had 10 marines join us for a day of fun fishing and relaxation.
