2010 Spring Pier Trip for Wounded Warriors

We held our 4th annual pier event for wounded warriors from Camp LeJeune Marine Corps Base. We had 10 marines attend and about that many volunteers to help out. It was once again held at SeaView Fishing Pie in North Topsail Beach, NC. Greg Ludlow, the owner of the pier was very generous to donate the use of his facilities, equipment and even provided lunch for the participants.
Plenty of fish were caught including Spanish Mackerel, bluefish, croakers, mullet, rays and a shark or two. Lots of smiles and happy faces were seen too. It was an awesome day, we thank all the volunteers and donors that made it possible. But most of all we thank our military heroes for their valiant service to our country, they are the protectors of our freedom!
