F.I.S.H.

F.I.S.H. is official!

Richard Phelps, Chairman of the board for F.I.S.H, received confirmation from the state of North Carolina that the organization’s incorporation application has been processed and completed.  Fishermen In Support of Heroes is now an official non-profit corporation.

The mission of FISHERMEN IN SUPPORT OF HEROES is to show our support and our appreciation to this Country’s military, specifically those that are Wounded Warriors. We accomplish our mission by hosting and sponsoring fishing trips thru the donations of money, goods and services from our donors, purchased gifts and the donation of time by our volunteers.

F.I.S.H also announced the members of it’s board of directors and officers for 2010.  Richard Phelps, the founder of the organization will serve as Chairman and CEO, Scott Hobbs as Vice-Chairman, David Christopher as board Secretary and Corporate Treasurer, Mike Becker as a board member and Chief Information Officer and John McDowell as a board member.  Short biographies on each board member is available on their website, http://www.fishheroes.org/ as well as further information about the organization.
